First Annual Walk-A-Thon — September 30, 2023
Thank you to everyone that joined A.M.WakeUpCall in our first annual fundraising walk to remember Amanda and all those that bravely battled against fentanyl. Walking alongside us as we continue to unite to advocate for change and work towards building a safer community.

Personalized Yard Signs
We had the opportunity to honor Loved Ones by lining the route of the walkathon with yard signs showcasing the beautiful names and faces of those who lost their battle against fentanyl. These pictures played a major role in reminding us that these are real people, real families, real heartache… caused by a real problem.
They are the reason we’re marching together toward a safer community!

PastorJed Hill
Pastor Jed Hill tells the inspirational story of his own battle with addiction and how he went from Penn State football player, to prisoner, to pronounced dead, to Pastor. Listen to hear how the Holy Spirit saved his life, as he is now over 5 years sober!
Walk-A-Thon Route
Poland Seminary High School: Parking in main lot
Riverside Cemetery - Amanda's Burial Site: Cut and lay flowers to commemorate her life and acknowledge the fight against fentanyl in her name and honor.
Water Station: Station set up halfway to next destination
Poland Village Blvd - Support Wall: The McAuley Home where messages of support in the fentanyl fight, notes of love, or memories of Amanda and others that have fought this battle can be pinned. Note cards provided at location.
Food trucks: Join us back at the high school parking lot for food trucks available for purchase and informational booths to learn more about the battle we’re fighting together!
Shuttle Stations: For those that would like to participate but prefer a shorter distance, a shuttle service will be provided with stops at each destination point.
Total Route Distance: 5 Miles
